Karen Masters is an Associate Professor in Astronomy and Physics at Haverford College, PA, USA. She is the Project Scientist for Galaxy Zoo and a lot of her research time is spent combining classifications from this project with other data to study galaxy evolution. She is also the Spokesperson for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey ( SDSS-IV). She has written two popular science books,  “30s Universe” (co-authored with Charles Liu, and Sevil Salur) and "30s Spaceflight" (with Charles Liu and Allen Liu)
