Christopher Berry is the CIERA Board of Visitors Research Professor at Northwestern University, and a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow.  He is an active member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, where he has been analysing the LIGO–Virgo discoveries. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Birmingham and, before that, a PhD student at the Institute of Astronomy, University of Cambridge.
